Whale Watching

Leaving from Portland, Maine, we sailed to the Stellwagen Bank and spent over 2 hours watching and photographing Humpback Whales, It was remarkable how close the boat was able to get to the whales and on occasion one would swim alongside. I was using a 70-300 mm zoom lens to captures these photos, which are no more than a small sample of the 600 plus shots taken on the day.
