Stotfold Steam Fair 2022

To give it it’s full title Stotfold Steam Fair and Country Show run by The Stotfold Mill Preservation Trust was held over the weekend of 7th and 8th May 2022. As well as a large collectionn of Steam Traction engines, there was a wide range of craft and food stalls, an extensive fairgound, and a large arena that hosted a great variety of entertaining displays.

The images try to reflect the range of events put on. Sheep dogs trying to herd geese was certainly amusing. The Gifford Dance Academy put on a great series of dances, by the many age related groups that they have. Motor Cycle stunts were quite spectacular, and of course centre stage was reserved for all of the Steam Traction Engines.
