Monet’s Gardens

Monet’s Garden is located in Giverny, France. It was created by the French Impressionist painter Claude Monet (1840-1926) over many years. The garden is divided into two parts: the Clos Normand and the Water Garden.

The Clos Normand is a traditional French garden with lawns, flower beds, and a pergola. The Water Garden is a more exotic garden with a pond, a Japanese bridge, and water lilies. Monet used the garden as a source of inspiration for many of his paintings.

This gallery is formed of photographs taken during two visits to the fabulous Monet’s Garden in Giverny. Coincidentally these visits were both in the month of June, so seasonally these are compatible.
