Madrid – A Reprise

We were delighted to be back in Madrid after almost exactly 3 years. These images are just a glimpse of the places we visited. Cafe Alberto makes its own Vermouth, which is an essential tipple at almost any time of day. It is almost obligatory to visit Botin, allegedly the oldest restaurant in the world and famous for its suckling pig.

Plaza Mayor is the focal point for many events throughout the year, and Palacio Real is well worth a visit. The Atocha Railway Station may sound an odd sight seeing destination but its architecture and the tropical garden it features demand otherwise.
